Job Description:
Scope of Position:
Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, and prepare for processing by the laboratory. Greet and receive all patients in a professional, warm, and efficient manner. Utilizing the laboratory software; register patients into the system for proper specimen processing. Make sure to maximize in-house lab processing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Perform venipuncture on patients in both a timely and professional manner. 2. Verify lab orders are available and patients are registered. 3. Process specimens for internal and external processing. 4. Management of Lab area
QUALIFICATIONS
