Shift Position Summary:
The Phlebotomist isresponsible for the collection and processing of specimens forlaboratory analysis. The Phlebotomist must have good communicationskills and maintain a thorough knowledge of laboratory testrequirements and departmental policies. Responsibilities includeadult and pediatric venipuncture, EKG’s, order entry, and specimenprocessing.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma, orequivalent Phlebotomy certificate or 1 years’ experience ispreferred Basic computer skills Previous phlebotomy experience withall age groups 2 years’ experience with adult education andinstructional design
