Blood Donor Technician needed for a temp to perm job in Boston,Mass.
Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the NurseManager, Blood Donor Center, the Donor Program Technician Ipreforms donor registration, screenings, whole blood collection,therapeutic phlebotomies, and automated platelet collections.
Responsible for the performance of donor room procedures under thedirection of the charge nurse and follows Standard OperatingProcedures. Able to balance production, donor care and qualityrequirements to meet annual blood collection goals. The donorprogram technician I complies with AABB standards, FDA regulationsand other regulatory agency guidelines.
