In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and specimen collection in various locations, ensuring high-quality patient service and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients in diverse settings. Duties Perform blood sampling and specimen collection using aseptic techniques in accordance with established protocols. Ensure proper handling, labeling, and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis. Conduct vital sign assessments as needed prior to specimen collection. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and specimen collection activities. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing any concerns or questions during the phlebotomy process. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication. Stay updated on laboratory techniques and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Proven minimum of 3 years experience in specimen collection processing and blood sampling techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology and laboratory procedures. Proficiency in aseptic technique and adherence to safety protocols. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Familiarity with hospital environments and the ability to work independently in various locations. Certification is required Mobile Phlebotomist must provide phlebotomy supplies such as needles, gloves, alcohol pads, band-aids, gauze, tourniquet, and Sharps Container.
