Phlebotomist Position Available In Suffolk, Massachusetts

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Phlebotomist for acontract position in Kenmore sq. Boston. The ideal candidate willhave experience drawing blood from patients of all ages and must beflexible with scheduling to support varying shift needs.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Perform venous access procedures on infants,pediatric, and adult patients using standard needle and syringe ormulti-tube needle holder
• Perform capillary access procedures onall age groups for direct testing or collection into tubes
• Drawblood samples across all age ranges including infants, children,and adults
• Ensure all specimens meet required criteria includingcorrect collection tubes, sufficient volume, and appropriatehandling for each test Heel stick experience needed.
• Understandand apply proper specimen handling techniques
• Accurately verifypatient identification before procedures
• Maintain stock ofphlebotomy supplies and report inventory needs

Schedule:

Mondaythrough Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum1 year of recent phlebotomy experience
• Experience withvenipuncture and capillary blood collection on all age groups

Certifications:

• Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy trainingprogram
• Phlebotomy Certification (national or state-level, ifrequired by jurisdiction)
