Phlebotomist Position Available In St. Louis, Missouri

Phlebotomist Confidential Ballwin, MO 63011 Your role is to provide phlebotomy/service center services in a medical clinic. Under the direction of the area supervisor, the Phlebotomist will perform daily activities accurately and on time while maintaining a safe and professional environment. They will need to perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Professional customer service in a medical service center
• Phlebotomy practices (including pediatric and geriatric)
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Order Entry
• Processing Samples
• Securing payment information when necessary
• Be organized
• Be attentive
• Be dependable (zero-tolerance policy for “no-shows”)

Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy experience (see required experience)
• MAs and CNAs (applications accepted if experience requirement is met)
• Competency in infection control procedures and preventative practices

Required Experience:

• Minimum of one-year continuous phlebotomy experience

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in medical services center

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are imperative
• Ability to accept assignments from service center staff
• Proficient computer and technology skils
• Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Process Oriented
• Must have reliable transportation
• Flexibility – assignments each day may be different
• Basic computer skills
