The phlebotomist collects blood (through vein or finger) and sterile urine specimens. Responsibilities include performing waived laboratory test and daily quality checks.

PHLEBOTOMIST DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Phlebotomist certificate. Three to six months of clinical laboratory work/training experience in a fast-paced medical practice. Previous experience working with electronic medical records.
