Description The Patient Services Representative I PSRI represents the face of the company to patients who come in, bothas part of their health routine or for insights into lifedefininghealth decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples frompatients and prepares those specimens for lab testing whilefollowing established practices and procedures. The PSR I hasdirect contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust andconfidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawingblood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The PSR Iwill demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on processexcellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracyto patient information.
Responsibilties:
Under the direction of thearea supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs withconfidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection andprocessing duties following established practices and procedures.
Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstratesorganizational commitment and promotes a positive image topatients, clients, employees and the public in general.
JobRequirements:
Ability to provide quality, error free work in afastpaced environment. Ability to work independently with minimalonsite supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to includepediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffingneeds, which includes weekends, holidays, oncall and overtime.
