We are currently seekinga Phlebotomy Team Lead to work in Asheville, NC. In this role youwill provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimencollections and be the face of the company. In addition, you willbe provided opportunities for continuous growth within theorganization.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday 6am-6pm, additionaldays and hours may be requiredPSTs may be eligible forparticipation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterlybonus based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide coverage and travel to various sites to performphlebotomy job duties Assist in the supervision of a team of phlebotomists coveringmultiple Patient Service Centers & client sites Observe new employee performance and report observations to thesupervisor Perform site inspections on a regular basis and accuratelyreport all findings Provide continuous training to phlebotomy staff asdirected Complete new hire and annual competency assessments whennecessary Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levelsand information logs Address any customer service related issues in a prompt andrespectful manner Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and makingschedule adjustments as needed Promote team work, cohesiveness and effective communicationamong coworkers Perform all duties of a phlebotomist and site coordinator asneeded

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1+ year of experience as a phlebotomist; 2+ years ispreferred Prior experience in a leadership position is a plus Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency ispreferred In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities andtechniques Proven track record in providing exceptional customerservice Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortably working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record ifapplicableIf you’re looking for a career that offers opportunitiesfor growth, continual development, professional challenge and thechance to make a real difference, apply today!
