Position required to work during periods of adverse weather or other emergencies:

Minimum Experience/Education Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education Minimum:

Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or certified Phlebotomist with documented training in venipuncture and specimen handling.

Preferred:

At least one year of phlebotomy experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, CPR certification preferred. Experience working in community or academic research settings is a plus. Required License or Certification LPN or RN license or Phlebotomy certification; CPR certification preferred
Position Overview Primary Purpose of Position To support a CMS-funded public health study by collecting blood specimens, recording participant data, and assisting with study operations on an as-needed basis. Ensures biospecimen integrity and participant safety during all phases of the study protocol. Primary Function of Organizational Unit The Department of Built Environment conducts interdisciplinary research and community-based health assessments to address environmental and public health disparities, supporting projects funded by agencies such as CMS and NIH. Work Hours As-needed, based on participant appointment schedules; primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Saturday
