Monday -Friday 8am-5pm and rotating Wednesday, 10am-7pm

Valid Phlebotomy certification

Responsibility:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws using straight and butterfly needles Must have experience in drawing all age groups from pediatric to geriatric Collect and store blood, urine, and other specimens following established protocols Properly label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required Match lab requisitions to specimens accurately and confirm test orders Ensure samples are stored at appropriate temperatures and packaged for transport Maintain and update patient records, including confirming test requisitions and documentation Follow infection control and decontamination procedures in compliance with OSHA and DEP guidelines Answer incoming phone calls regarding lab results and other inquiries Maintain a clean and organized work area Attend annual department trainings and adhere to all PPE and safety regulations Assist with other related duties as assigned Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
