Serve as a trusted resource across multiple sites and departments Lead by example in complex collections, patient interactions, and workflow efficiency Mentor and support phlebotomy team members Ensure top-tier patient experience and accurate specimen collection Stay sharp with diverse, hands-on opportunities every day

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Experience:
Three years of relevant experience, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Certification by ASCP, ASPT, AMT or NHA; required.
Additional Skills Required:
New hire phlebotomist must obtain certification within 6 months of hire. Failure to do so will result in termination of employment. Knowledge of current medical terminology to perform full range of laboratory tasks. Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate with medical staff regarding laboratory procedures and results. Skilled in anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations. Skilled in developing and maintaining department quality assurance. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, hospital staff and the public. Ability to follow written protocols. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate clearly.
