Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Health Care Programs Coordinator, the Phlebotomy Instructor provides quality instruction to students enrolled in the Phlebotomy course.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop curriculum and performance objectives.
Provide individualized and safety instructions.
Provide Employability skills and promote career awareness.
Must possess good communication skills and work well with adult learners.
Monitor lab supplies and classroom, lab and clinical requirements.
Monitor student clinical progress throughout the program.
Maintain records and follow state requirements for the program.
Must be able to work flexible instruction hours as needed.
Must meet clinical agency vaccine, drug and criminal background requirements.
Education and Experience:
AAS in health-related field or Certification in Phlebotomy from an accredited agency
Two years current Phlebotomy Technician work experience or health-related work experience
