Phlebotomist (Part-Time) 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716 IMMEDIATE opening for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood sampling and specimen collection with a focus on patient comfort and safety. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate laboratory procedures and high-quality patient service. •NOTE •: This is part-time Mon – Fri 8:00AM – 1:00PM (25 hours per week). Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws for laboratory testing. Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols. Maintain aseptic technique to prevent contamination during specimen collection. Ensure proper handling and transportation of specimens to the laboratory. Document all procedures accurately in patient records and laboratory systems. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns. Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control protocols at all times. Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for use. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and laboratory procedures.
