JOB SUMMARY
The Phlebotomist is responsible for performing phlebotomy on all age groups of patients. They are also responsible for filing and distributing reports along with screening telephone calls for the department. They will assist in other non-technical duties in order to maintain smooth daily operation of the department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE
High school diploma or equivalent with Phlebotomy training (NAACL guidelines) At least 1 year of hands on experience with Phlebotomy in all ages Basic secretarial skills with basic computer knowledge Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing Must be neat and professional in appearance and performance
