The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and collecting samples for laboratory testing, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of clinical laboratory procedures. Duties Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care. Collect, label, and process blood samples according to established protocols. Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to and after sample collection. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations. Assist in the preparation of specimens for laboratory analysis, ensuring proper handling and storage. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience during blood collection. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate laboratory results and timely processing. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and laboratory procedures relevant to phlebotomy. Requirements Proven experience in phlebotomy or a related clinical laboratory setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and laboratory procedures. Ability to perform blood draws efficiently while minimizing patient discomfort. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and care. Familiarity with hospital environments and clinical protocols is advantageous. Must possess the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
