Charleston Thyroid Center is growing! With our brand new, renovated office space in Mount Pleasant and continued expansion of our provider care team, we are actively searching for a certified phlebotomist. No walk-in patients!!! All patients will be scheduled, and patient flow will be optimized for a very organized and stress-free work experience. We are looking for a very specific applicant because the person that fills this job position will be a key representation of our practice. More specifically, we are looking for an excellent and skilled phlebotomist, a team member; someone who is emotionally intelligent; an individual who is kind, caring, and warm; someone who is well spoken and goes above and beyond for the benefit of the patient; and someone who is ready and willing to learn all facets of the position to the point of excellence. The job description includes but is not limited to: Wearing a smile and bringing positivity to the workplace and when patient facing Scheduling for blood draw (minimal; most of this will be automated) Phlebotomy Processing of specimens Phone calls and faxes Copays and collecting payment Troubleshooting Qualifications Certified Phlebotomy Technician with relevant certification Proficient in specimen collection and processing, including venipuncture and blood sampling Strong patient service and care skills, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and physiology Experience in clinical settings Familiarity with laboratory procedures and techniques, enhancing clinical laboratory experience Please send a cover letter, resume, and your Enneagram personality results (
