About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivateyou. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changingmedicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality isexpected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and willperform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy tosupport plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
- Youwill answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, whileensuring the safety of donors and our team.
- You will screen newand repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and fingerstick results.
- You will use our Donor Information System, preparedonor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donorcompensation.
- You will help identify operational opportunitiesfor continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processesusing company approved procedures.
- You will be there for ourdonors, which includes working a variety of shifts, Saturdays andSundays, and holidays.
What you bring to
Takeda:
- High schooldiploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entirework shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Abilityto lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and belowknees
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting ofmaterials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motorcoordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment froma distance
- Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens(risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear

Starting Hourly Wage:
