Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.

Reports to: Phlebotomy SupervisorLabels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.

Drag Edit DeletePerforms routine department functions, such as answering the phone in an appropriate and timely manner, taking/delivering messages and transferring calls as needed, faxing and copying.

• Minimum Education
• High school diploma or equivalent

Certification:

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)

• Required within 30 days of hire, if not current upon hire.
