POSITION SUMMARY

An integral member of a rehab team who all believe in our mission and strive for our patients to reach their best possible potential and functional outcomes. Provides high quality compassionate Physical Therapy services while using the most up to date evidence•based practices. The rehab team must be willing and eager to learn new concepts and therapy techniques, possess great communication and interpersonal skills and be highly motivated. The Inpatient Physical Therapist’s job duties include but are not limited to obtaining patients medical history, evaluation and administering treatments in consultation with the referring physician, completing all appropriate documentation in the patient’s medical record, instructing patient and family/caregivers in appropriate patient care, assisting in training / mentoring new hires, students and support personnel and performing other duties as assigned by the Manager of Inpatient Rehabilitation and Manager SNF/Long Term Rehabilitation. The ideal team player in this position exhibits excellent leadership skills, decision making and organizational abilities in addition to possessing excellent communication and teaching skills

Current Alabama State Board of Physical Therapy licensure
BLS within 90 days of hire
