Position Overview We’reseeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA) to provide high-quality therapy services under thesupervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The idealcandidate is passionate about improving patients’ functionalmobility, maintaining independence, and delivering care withrespect and empathy. Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeuticexercises, treatments, and interventions as outlined in thepatient’s care plan.
- Monitor patient progress and report updatesto the supervising PT.
- Document patient treatments accurately andtimely per facility and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate withthe interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patientcare.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniquesfor continued progress. Qualifications
- Associate degree from aCAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Currentstate licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a PTA.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but notrequired.
