The iMOVE TherapyCenter is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2025 and provideservices 6-days/week ensuring expanded access, especially toworking families.
This facility will also house:
a state of the artprimary care facility, women’s specialty services, acupuncture andmassage therapy, laboratory services, education facilities, ateaching kitchen, clothing closet and a food pharmacy – all ofwhich can be accessed by iMOVE families. In addition, communityhealth workers and social worker/case managers will be available toall programs. This comprehensive, family centered approach willensure that the needs of all patients and families accessing thefacility are met. The anticipated outcome of the iMOVE Therapy Center is to create adistinctive and exceptional therapeutic space for infants andchildren that will improve their health and quality of life.
Improving access and opportunity to children from poor communitieswith limited resources will be instrumental in improving healthequity and decreasing disparities. This uniquely created area willdesign and implement programs to improve the individual child’sareas of need and increase overall function and participation.
Individualized assessments, treatment plans, progress assessmentsand goals will be monitored at each session with family input andin accordance with each child’s abilities towards achieving optimalfunction and movement and prevention of injury.

What you willdo:
- Evaluations are conducted with thoroughness and efficiency,including appropriate testsand measurements.
- Sets functional,realistic, and measurable goals and the patient demonstratesconsistentachievement of those goals.
- Designs a functionaltreatment plan that is reflective of prescribed therapyandincorporates applicable reimbursement issues.
- Re-evaluates anddischarges patients within appropriate time frames.
MinimumQualifications:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school ofPhysical Therapy is required.
Experience & Skills:
New Grads andExperienced PT’s welcome. Prefer Pediatricexperience.
Licensure/Certification:
-Must be a Licensed PhysicalTherapist in the State of Florida is required.
