A Brief Overview The Physical Therapist is responsible for planning and providingphysical therapy treatment for patients in accordance withprofessional and Methodist Healthcare standards of treatment.

Provides ongoing patient assessment through observation ofpatient and review of records. Identifies patient specific physical therapy rehabilitationlearning needs and provides appropriate education. Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities forself-development and enhancement of professional competency. Ability to communicate verbally with Associates, physicians andother outside professionals. Ability to work without close supervision and to exerciseindependent judgment. Ability to organize multiple tasks and projects and maintaincontrol of work flow. Supervision Provided by this Position There are no supervisory responsibilities assigned to thisposition. May provide guidance and direction to therapyassistants. Physical Demands The physical activities of this position may include climbing,pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling,stooping, and repetitive motion.
