Pediatric Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- + Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on age, diagnosis, and functional goals.
+ Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and overall physical development. + Educate and collaborate with families and caregivers to support patient progress and carryover of therapy goals at home. + Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. + Coordinate care with occupational therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team. + Participate in continuing education and maintain licensure and certifications as required. + Maintain a safe and welcoming clinical environment for children and families.
