Utilizes processimprovement in achieving the goals of the RehabilitationDepartment. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Planand to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state andfederal agencies, and accrediting bodies. May supervise otherPhysical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, technicalaides, volunteers and interns.

- Performs evaluations and re-evaluations according to standardsand recommended techniques. Establishes, implements and adapts anindividualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goalsetting, treatment activities and frequency). Discharges patientswhen maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according tostandards of practice and payer guidelines.
- Documents accurately, completely, and timely with legiblehandwriting. Uses measurable and objective terminology followingstandards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospitalpolicy and procedures.
- Charges patient accurately, timely, and legibly according toguidelines of the CPT code format and following insuranceguidelines.
- Identifies the need for patient/caregiver education and utilizeseach opportunity for teaching on a planned or spontaneous basis,including discharge recommendations. Documents education andunderstanding, as appropriate.
- Participates in practice changes as a result of performanceimprovement activities. Supports quality standards and initiativesset by the department.
- What you will need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and five or more years ofwork experience in physical therapy,
