Alliant Hospital provides extended acute care services to patients requiring a longer period of time for medical treatment and recovery. As a “hospital within a hospital,” we offer 24-hour easy accessibility to emergency room physicians, diagnostic testing, radiology, laboratory and surgical services

  • Physical Therapist

Responsibilities:

+ Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients’ strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional status. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical status. + Implement physical therapy treatments to improve or maintain patients’ functional abilities, including therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, and use of assistive devices. + Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care plans. + Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. + Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, exercises to be done independently, fall prevention, and safe mobility techniques. + Team members with temporary permits must work under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist that has been licensed for a minimum of six months. A supervising licensed Physical Therapist may only supervise one permittee at any given time.

  • Certifications and Licensures
  • : + Required BLS (Basic Life Support) + Required PT (Physical Therapy) + Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain + Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months
  • Requirements:
  • + Required Bachelor’s Physical Therapy + Preferred Master’s Physical Therapy + Preferred Doctorate’s Physical Therapy + Preferred 1-year Physical Therapist
