Summary:

Team Rehabilitation is seeking outpatient-focused Physical Therapists. Primary responsibilities areevaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with the ultimategoal of having patients recover from injuries, manage pain, andregain mobility. The only way to drive success is in providingexceptional physical therapy with measurable outcomes. The idealcandidate will be passionate about patient care while regularlyexceeding industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellenthealth care for our patients. Patients should achieve good outcomesand be happy with their experience of physical therapy.

Evaluate newpatients understand their current medical and emotional situationsand then develop plans of care.

Treat patients and set measurable,functional goals. Making sure to answer their concerns andquestions about their injury, progress and probableoutcomes.

Educate the patient on treatment options and homeexercises that can assist in complimenting their clinicalsessions.

Supervising aides when they are providing modalities fornon-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, and also in their general set upand clean up duties.

Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress;revising plans of care and resetting goals when needed to ensurethe best possible outcome.

Address pain management as a crucialcomponent of care. Utilize techniques that can assist in painreduction to increase their functions and everydayactivities.

Determine when to discharge patients. Teach patientsproper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to reduce futureincidents.

Write timely and accurate documentation including;evaluations, re-evaluations discharges and daily progressnotes.

Achieve a reasonable level of productivity. This depends onthe number of referrals and the type of patient presenting.

However, with our normal outpatient orthopedic population, Teamwould expect 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations a week from afull-time Physical Therapist.

Participate in research studiessupported by the clinic and help develop protocols for the mostcommon diagnoses.

Give input on policies, procedures and strategy toensure that all Team Rehabilitation clinics provide the highestquality of care.

Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly andprofessionally.

Responsible for continuing to develop skills bystaying updated in the latest research and techniques. Attendcompany in-house CEUs and use the continuing education allowance toattend seminars, workshops, and professional developmentopportunities.
