Physical Therapist / 60259 Position Available In Polk, Georgia

Physical Therapist $39-48/hr DOE CPS Recruitment is working with a well-respected healthcare provider in the Rockmart, GA area. This organization is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services in a compassionate and professional environment and focuses on helping patients achieve their highest potential for health and well-being. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy programs aimed at restoring function, preventing disability, and enhancing physical and functional abilities.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients to develop personalized care plans incorporating various modalities, exercises, and patient education. Gather as well as interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patient/family input. Set functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions to achieve these goals, adjusting the care plan as needed. Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and patient education accurately as well as timely. Communicate patient progress as well as coordinating schedules / treatment programs to physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff. Supervise PTAs and Rehab Tech/Aides as required by licensure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in GA or willing to relocate and obtain state license to practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Capable of lifting patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to laterally transfer patients up to 100 pounds (rarely). Work in a fast-paced clinical environment, primarily indoors with occasional outdoor activities.
