Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment:
Evaluate patients’physical conditions, including mobility, strength, andflexibility.
Treatment and Education:
Provide therapeutic exercises,manual therapy, and other treatments to enhance functionality andalleviate pain. Educate patients and families on exercises,posture, and body mechanics to aid recovery, prevent injuries, andoffer guidance on home routines and lifestylechanges.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of evaluations,progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal andethical standards.
Collaboration:
Work with healthcare providers toensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinaryteam meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
Degree inPhysical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Validstate licensure as a Physical Therapist, or license eligible
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient indeveloping and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centeredapproach.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and assist patientsas needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and performphysical tasks related to therapy.
