STAT Home Health is seeking aFull-Time Physical Therapist to join our patient care team andservice patients in New Orleans, LA!

Qualifications:

Must becurrently licensed by the Louisiana Physical Therapy BoardHave atleast one year of experience as Physical TherapistCPRcertificationExcellent time management skills. Patient careorientedReliable transportation to visit patientsHome Healthexperience preferred

Job Duties:

Assist the physician in evaluatingthe patient’s functional status and physical therapy needs, andassist in the development of the plan of careProvide serviceswithin the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governingthe practice of physical therapy, in the accordance with the planof care, and in coordination with other members of the health careteamObserve and report the patient’s response to treatment and anychanges in his/her condition to the physician and the supervisingregistered nursePrepare written summary to the physician at leastevery two months/sixty daysSet rehab goals for patientsGuide thepatient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-careactivities for the purpose of improving function.
