Physical Therapist Job Description

• Plans and conductssegments of treatment programs designed to restore and improvephysical, social and mental functions, while meeting departmentobjectives.
• Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach topatient groups.
• Completes evaluations to ensure quality standardsand addresses assessment areas that require attention. Usesappropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishesindividualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provides therapyinterventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.

Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensuresplans are communicated to appropriate parties.

• Completescomprehensive and accurate clinical documentation withinestablished deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performsother job-related duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with alldisciplines to evaluate team goals
• Establish and administer atreatment program with realistic and achievable goalsQualifications
• 6 months of recent experience
• Graduate of anaccredited school
• BLS certification
• Active state license
• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interactingwith patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
