Massachusetts Location:

Orleans/Cape Cod Massachusetts Under direction, is responsible to provide support to licensed therapists, utilizing appropriate interventions. Utilizes basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology in role Essential Functions Provide support to licensed physical therapists in patient evaluation and treatment. Implement physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. Maintain patient records and document treatment progress. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy treatment area. Participate in continuing education opportunities to advance knowledge and skills. Yes Qualifications Education Current enrollment in DPT program Experience experience completing internship or apprenticeship program 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems. Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Teaching others how to do something. Excellent problem solving, case management and communication skills. Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
