Category Schools – PT Job Type Contract Enthusiastic professionals are sought to provide specialized physical therapy services within an educational setting. This role focuses on meeting the needs of K-8th grade students, ensuring that each child receives the support necessary for their physical development and academic success.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in healthcare and/or school settings Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and the unique needs of students Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals Experience with diverse populations and varying physical therapy needs
Location:
Chicopee, MA Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students’ physical therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services to students with K-8th grade caseloads Collaborate with school staff to create supportive learning environments Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
