Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy license in the state Experience in Pediatric Physical Therapy, preferably within school settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop individualized treatment plans Familiarity with K-12 education systems and IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) Commitment to collaborating with educators and other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring physical therapy Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate documentation of therapy services and student progress Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding therapy goals and outcomes
