We are a team-oriented,collaborative group with the opportunity for you to learn from ourexperienced therapists who have special areas of interest includingpelvic health, sports rehab, vestibular, lymphedema, TMJ,pediatrics and many more! Our gym is open and welcoming, withplenty of space for our patients to exercise and focus on theirtreatment. At every appointment, you will provide care andexpertise that your patients need to get back to doing the thingsthey love! We are seeking a self-motivated Physical Therapist whois responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based care ina hospital-based outpatient clinic to join our team. The staffphysical therapist evaluates, develops and implements specifictreatment programs for individual patients according to theprinciples and practices of physical therapy.

Responsibilities:

Provides comprehensive evaluation and assessment of patient’sphysical status and functional mobility. Sets realistic short- andlong-term goals and plan of care related to patient’s physicaltherapy needs within the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular,cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems. Demonstrates theability to carry out the appropriate treatment plan. Documentationand billing is accurate and reflective of services provided inaccordance with departmental guidelines. Perform job as describedby Outpatient Physical Therapy Competencies Supervises and mentorsstudents, PTAs and support staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degreeis required, Masters or Doctorate preferred Current MassachusettsPhysical Therapy License required 1-2 years of clinical experienceis preferred, but not required Outpatient orthopaedic experience ispreferred. APTA membership is recommended.

Additional Requirements:

Must demonstrate interpersonal skills including communication,flexibility, time management, independence, teamwork, and maturityto operate effectively within a multi-disciplinary setting. Must bewilling and able to work effectively with a wide variety ofpatients with acute and long term disability. Must be capable oftreating independently. Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transferspatients, supplies and equipment. Must be capable of providingphysical therapy intervention throughout the life span.
