Job:
Provides physical therapy services to inpatients and/oroutpatients of all ages from birth through geriatrics withdevelopmentally based exceptions (children under 17 years of agewith certain neurological or developmental disorders and/or infantsin the nursery or NICU).
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluates patientsincluding subjective information, objective information,assessment, and prognosis and establishes effective goals andtreatment plans appropriately.
- Implements patient specifictreatment plan and modifies as needed. Develops and implements apatient-appropriate educational program with family’s participationwhen necessary and modifies treatment plan as needed. Updates asneeded.
- Delegates and shares appropriate patients with physicaltherapy assistants
- Provides clinical supervision to new staffand/or affiliating students.
- Completes and processes insuranceand third-party payer information in a timely manner.
- Maintainsclinical competency and uses equipment and techniques which aresafe and appropriate for skill level.
Who You Are:
- Graduate ofaccredited school of Physical Therapy required.
- CPR certificationpreferred.
- Graston Certification
- Outpatient PT, LymphedemaCertification helpful
- Outpatient PT
- Dry Needling Certificationhelpful
- Outpatient PT preferred.
- 1-2 years of Physical Therapyexperience preferred.
