Duties Include:
Evaluates patients and developspatient-specific physical therapy treatment programs. Monitors,reassesses and modifies treatment programs to meet patient needs inan ongoing manner. Coordinates, delegates and supervisesresponsibilities assigned to supportive staff (physical therapistassistants, rehab aides, students, etc.). Works cooperatively withphysicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff. Performstreatments demonstrating awareness of growth and development foreach population group. Applies knowledge of population specificneeds when assessing/caring for newborn, pediatric, adolescent,adult, and geriatric patients according to psycho-social anddevelopmental needs.
