PositionOverview:
UMMC is seeking an experienced Acute Care PhysicalTherapist for an inpatient role. The ideal candidate has acute careexperience in a Level 1 trauma center or large academic hospital.
This role involves managing a caseload of complex patients acrossmultiple units including ICU, transplant, cardiac, neuro, trauma,internal medicine, and perioperative settings.•
KeyResponsibilities:
Perform evaluations and treatments for acute careinpatients Manage a daily caseload of 12-15 patients, providing directtreatment to 8-10 patients Provide therapy coverage across all inpatient areas, including: All 5 ICUs Transplant, Cardiac, Trauma, Internal Medicine, Neuro Adult Emergency Department (ED), PACU, and Same Day SurgeryCenter Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians,nurses, and other rehab staff
Requirements:

Active MS Physical Therapist License
- must be inhand
Certifications:
BLS (AHA)
Experience:
Minimum 6 months acute care experience in a large hospital orLevel 1 Trauma Center
