Responsibilities:

The Director of Rehab PT is responsible for theefficient management of rehabilitation services in their assignedaccount(s). This position also assists in integration ofrehabilitation services in all settings. The Director of Rehab PTensures that the highest standard of rehabilitation services isdelivered and maintained. 1. Assumes responsibility for theefficient and profitable management of rehabilitation services inassigned site(s) of service. 2. Provides direct patient care. 3.Monitors the standard of clinical services being delivered andmaintained in all sites and ensures an ethical and compliantproduct is being delivered. 4. Operationally manages PowerbackRehabilitation personnel and consultants within facility or homecare contracts. 5. Ensures accountability to the provision ofevidence based care and adherence to care delivery standards. 6.Reviews monthly department and individual therapist outcomes andsupports staff in identifying strategies to improve outcomes asneeded. 7. Assists therapy staff in identifying and removingbarriers to treatment and providing clinical education to meet theneeds of the patient. 8. Takes responsibility for the developmentand support of all staff in their site to include rounding,coaching and mentoring. 9. Assumes responsibility for annual meritevaluation of therapy staff. 10. Assumes responsibility for hiringtherapy staff (in conjunction with the Clinical Operations AreaDirector). 11. Assumes responsibility for daily staffing andutilization with input from treating therapists, consideration ofclinical requirements, and recommendations from the ClinicalDirector. 12. Administers financial controls of revenue andexpenses. 13. Assumes responsibility for facility reports on aweekly and monthly basis. 14. Assists Clinical Operations AreaDirector in annual budget preparation. 15. Assumes responsibilityfor meeting annual budget goals as set by the Clinical OperationsArea Director. 16. Assists with clinical orientation and ensuresthat there is a quality orientation process for new rehab staff.17. Supports the delivery of the highest standard of rehab servicesthrough appropriate utilization of resources, the promotion ofclinical programs, and staff development in collaboration withlicensed therapists, the Clinical Operations Area Director and theClinical Director. 18. Promotes all Powerback Rehabilitationproducts and services whenever possible. 19. Assists ClinicalOperations Area Director in identifying and securing new contracts.20. Develops and maintains relationship with facility managementteam and staff as a representative of Powerback Rehabilitation. 21.Ensures that the clinical management of the rehab department,including oversight related to case management, qualityimprovement, care planning, clinical utilization, and patientidentification is overseen. 22. Completes monthly reports andformally reviews them with the facility administration. 23.Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. Theymust have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) ofpractice, or proof of license eligibility. 2. They must have aMaster’s degree in Physical Therapy; or 3. They must have aMaster’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field in addition toa Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; or 4. They must have aBachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressivelyresponsible PT experience. 5. The qualifying Physical Therapydegree earned outside of the U.S. must be evaluated to be the U.S.equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy. 6. Additionally, theDirector of Rehab PT must have three years direct patient careexperience and one year of management experience. 7. A thoroughknowledge of Medicare and third party billing is also required.

Posted Salary Range:

USD $45.00 – USD $53.00 /Hr.
