Qualifications:

New Jersey Department of Education Certification as Physical Therapist or eligible for emergency certification. Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Physical Therapist from an accredited university and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association. Certification by State of New Jersey as a school Physical Therapist. Demonstrated knowledge of and independence in the use of varied therapy treatment approaches. Knowledge of child development. Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, establish and maintain proper working relationships with students, parents, co-workers, and supervisors. Ability to perform physical activities and maintain a safe working environment. Adhere to ethical standards of the profession and travel to various locations. Adhere to personnel policies, procedures, and standard health precautions.
