Physical Therapist I: Full Time, MMC Inpatient Position Available In Morris, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System is searching for an experienced and dynamic Physical Therapist to work full time at their inpatient department at Morristown Medical Center. The candidate will be responsible for providing a broad range of physical therapy services in an interdisciplinary setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the position’s qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. The candidate will ensure and provide development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.

Principal Accountabilities:

Essential functions include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, providing patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. Supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation. Participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, exercises independent judgement of moderately complex cases and with minimal to no supervision.

Required:

1. New Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy. 2. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program

Preferred:

0-4 years of experience in Acute Care in large academic medical setting. Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health. Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as Specialist in an area suitable for care in an acute care setting.
