  • What you will do in this role:
  • Put your physicaltherapy skills to work where they’re really needed -evaluate apatient’s condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them getbetter, day by day. You’ll also instruct the nursing staff and thepatient’s families on follow-through programs that build on theprogress they’ve made
  • Communicate patient progress or problems tosupervisor and other team members; assist with patient schedulingand post charges daily to patient records
  • Document patient care inaccordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accreditingrequirements
  • Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff infollow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safeand clean condition
  • Handle job responsibilities in accordance withthe Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate ComplianceAgreement, appropriate professional standard and applicablestate/federal laws
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current andunrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where servicesare rendered
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational andcommunication skillsThrough a history of successful joint-venturepartnerships and management agreements, Lifepoint Rehabilitationworks with hospitals to more effectively meet the needs of theirpatients, maintain employee satisfaction and generate long-termquality outcomes for their entire organization.
