The Physical Therapist performs evaluation and treatment ofpatients in discipline specific therapy areas; Maintainsprofessional licensure and registration in good standing with theappropriate South Carolina Licensure Board (Physical Therapy) andaccrediting agency; Participates in continuing education fulfillingrequirement to maintain licensure and competency and independentstudy to progress knowledge base; Works closely with otherdepartments to provide interdisciplinary and age appropriatepatient care; Documents all patient interventions accurately and ina timely manner in accordance with regulatory requirements;Provides education and training for other staff members, outsidedepartments and community; Supervises assistants and rehabtechnicians; Completes CPR certification, Educode, annual healthscreen according to hospital policy; Performs other duties asassigned by Manager or Director.
