Position Summary:
Responsible forproviding a full range of therapeutic services includingassessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in aninterdisciplinary environment consistent with the positionsqualification, professional practices and ethical standards. Theincumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for thecontribution to program development, quality improvement, problemsolving, and productivity enhancement in a flexibleinterdisciplinary fashion. The employee may have job functionswhere they will handle and deliver medications based on therequirements of their job in the assigned work facility. Theemployee will complete other duties asassigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education /
Experience:
Must be a graduateof an accredited therapy program and performed the requiredclinical internships satisfactorily
Licensure:
Licensed by the stateof
South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy ExaminersSpecialSkills:
Ability to utilize therapy equipment an outpatientrehabilitation setting to provide treatment and procedurespreferred.
Other:
American Heart Association Healthcare providercourse with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required to beinitially completed with the GHS Staff Development Office within 30calendar days of hire date (exceptions to obtain certification froma provider other than the GHS Staff Development Office are approvedby Staff development on a case by case basis). BLS Recertificationis required every two years. ACLS preferred.
