You’ll be responsible for administering and directingphysical therapy evaluations and treatments as prescribed by aphysician, while providing compassionate care that aligns with theAPTA Code of Ethics and our core values.

As a member of our team,youll not only have the chance to make a difference in patients’lives, but youll also have opportunities for professional growthand mentorship. With just one year of experience, you’ll have theopportunity to supervise PT and PTA students, provide clinicalguidance to PTA’s and Technicians, and collaborate with asupportive and dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

  • KeyResponsibilities:
  • Administer and direct appropriate physicaltherapy evaluations and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively withpatients, families, physicians, and team members.
  • Accuratelydocument patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Maintain aprofessional and ethical approach in accordance with the APTA Codeof Ethics and Siskins Philosophy of Service.
  • Supervise PT and PTAstudents and offer mentorship and clinical supervision.
  • Collaborate daily with a diverse team of healthcare providers,patients, families, and visitors.
  • What Were Looking For:
  • Education:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Physical Therapy or equivalentfrom an accredited program.
  • Experience:
  • No prior experiencerequired, but a passion for patient care is a must!
  • Licensure:
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee.
  • Certification:
  • Ongoing CPR certification and passing the annual UDS PIcredentialing exam.
  • Skills:
  • Willingness to continue learning,ability to work well with others, and comfort in giving/receivingconstructive feedback.
  • Competencies:
  • Minimal computer skillspreferred. Physical agility and strong communicationskills.
  • Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Maneuver patients withvarying weights and functional abilities to assist with transfersand mobility activities.
  • Perform physical tasks like patientpositioning and equipment setup.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and movein various positions for extended periods.
  • Create a safe andsupportive environment for patients, coworkers, and visitors.
