• Provide physical therapy treatment and patient care according tohospital, state and federal regulations and professionalguidelines.
• Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapistassistants and technicians.
• Maintain open and ongoingcommunication with hospital departments to ensure that patient,staff and hospital needs are met.
• Help patients to regain controlof their lives and their independence.
• Create an environment anda culture that enables the hospital to fulfill its mission byproviding patient safety and patient-centered treatment.

Credentials:

• Current state licensure or certification on orbefore the first day of employment required.
• CPR certificationpreferred unless otherwise required by hospital policy.
• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited bachelor’s ormaster’s program, plus sufficient experience in the fieldessential.
• Demonstrated competence in physical therapyevaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.
