- What you will do in this role:
- Put your physicaltherapy skills to work where they’re really needed -evaluate apatient’s condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them getbetter, day by day. You’ll also instruct the nursing staff and thepatient’s families on follow-through programs that build on theprogress they’ve made
- Communicate patient progress or problems tosupervisor and other team members; assist with patient schedulingand post charges daily to patient records
- Document patient care inaccordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accreditingrequirements
- Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff infollow-through programs
- Maintain equipment and work area in a safeand clean condition
- Handle job responsibilities in accordance withthe Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate ComplianceAgreement, appropriate professional standard and applicablestate/federal laws
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current andunrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where servicesare rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational andcommunication skillsThrough a history of successful joint-venturepartnerships and management agreements, Lifepoint Rehabilitationworks with hospitals to more effectively meet the needs of theirpatients, maintain employee satisfaction and generate long-termquality outcomes for their entire organization.
