MUST BE ABLE TO WORK

Monday 8AM-5PM, Wednesday 8AM-5PM, Friday 8AM-5PM This is a part-time position that may eventually change into a full-time position in the future Must be able to pass a Level 2 ACHA Background Check Must have prior PT experience Assist in patient care by following the protocols set forth by a Physical Therapist/ Therapist Assistant that range from active/passive, range of motion exercises and stretches Assist in maintenance of accurate patient records Maintenance of equipment through regular cleanings and adjustments to equipment. CPR Certified, Ultrasound certified, E-stim stretch knowledge, therapeutic exercises knowledge preferred but not required.

Assist with modalities which include:

Electrical stimulation, Hot/cold packs, Ultrasound, Gait Training, stretching Regularly report to physical therapist/ therapist assistant concerning patient progress/status to allow for updates of goals and modifications of treatment programs Recognize standard patient protocols and/or treatment plans requiring modification to meet individual patient needs & inform the therapist Assist in keeping precise records of patient’s appointments kept and re-schedules for follow-up appointments via EMR Assist physical therapist’s assessment of the learning needs and capabilities of patients and caregivers regarding age, level of understanding & emotional status Knowledge of physical therapy principles, theory, methods, and their applications
