The ideal candidate has completed or is currently enrolled in formal education in the field of exercise science and/or health promotion. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of one year of work experience at a gym, health club, or physical therapy office. This experience should lend itself to the following job duties: Assist the physical therapist and physical therapist assistant with patient setups and equipment setups Assist with taking patients through their exercise / therapy program Fold towels when needed Answer the telephone Schedule patient visits Input patient data into software system when needed Verify insurance Collect co-payments Clean equipment and patient tables between patient visits Clean office furniture and general therapy room when needed

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science/Health Promotion is preferred (completed or currently enrolled) Solid written and verbal communication Proficient in Microsoft Office Understanding and compassion for others Proven ability to listen Professional attitude and appearance Customer service mentality Excellent organizational abilities Ability to handle pressure, manage time, and prioritize Miller Physical Therapy is an equal opportunity employer.
