Physical Therapy Aide RL Klein & Associates Inc Spring Valley, NY 10977 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. Your support will be crucial in helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall physical health. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patient care and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists with patient treatments and exercises, ensuring proper techniques are followed. Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies. Help patients with mobility and positioning during therapy sessions. Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the physical therapist. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required. Educate patients on exercises and home care techniques to promote recovery. Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patients. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in orthopedics or outpatient services, is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and physiology knowledge is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a hospital or clinical environment. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols.
