Job Description Summary The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant administers appropriate treatments and related duties under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, in keeping with the Alabama Physical Therapy Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Code of Ethics. QUALIFICATIONS
+ Associates degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and eligible for licensure in the State of Alabama; + Prefer previous experience in acute care setting.
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS
+ Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; + Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.
